COMMITTEES

IASE has a council, executive committee, academic committee, Education Committee, Industry committee, International Cooperation committee, secretariat and other functional organizations, responsible for the organization’s decision-making, management, academic guidance, teaching and research, industrial development and international cooperation. The Council is the highest decision-making body of IASE; The Executive Committee is responsible for daily operation and management; The academic Committee is responsible for the planning, review and guidance of academic activities; The International Cooperation Committee is responsible for expanding international cooperation relations and organizing international exchange activities.

1. Highest decision-making body: the Council

Membership: It is composed of distinguished engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and policy makers from different countries and regions to ensure regional and professional balance.

Responsibilities: Formulating IASE development strategy, annual plan and budget; To elect an Executive committee; Monitor the implementation of IASE activities; Represent IASE in high-level foreign exchanges and cooperation.

2. Executive Committee

Membership: A number of vice presidents and the Secretary General elected by the Board of Directors are responsible for the daily operation of the Academy.

Responsibilities: To carry out the decisions of the Council; Coordinate the work of various departments; Preparation of Council meetings; Dealing with urgent matters.

3. Academic Committee

Sub-committees: Sub-committees are established according to the field of engineering science and technology (such as information technology, bioengineering, energy and environment, materials science, management science, etc.), and each sub-committee is led by a leading expert in the field.

Responsibilities: Organizing academic seminars and technical forums; Carry out research project evaluation and recommendation; Promoting interdisciplinary exchanges and cooperation; Edit and publish academic journals and reports.

4. Education Committee

It consists of: Teaching Division, Research Division and Continuing Education Division.

Responsibilities:

Teaching Division: Teaching design and management.

Office of Research: Research and development.

Continuing Education Division: providing lifelong learning opportunities; Organize professional training and seminars; Develop online educational resources.

5. Industrial Council

We are committed to promoting the cooperation and development of the international science and technology industry.

Its responsibilities include:

We will promote the development of a theoretical system for innovation in the international science and technology industry.

To organize and carry out international exchanges and cooperation in the science and technology industry.

Promote financial cooperation and standardization in the international science and technology industry.

We will strengthen human capacity building in the science and technology industry.

We will promote the development of platforms for cooperation and innovation in the international science and technology industry.

6. Committee for International Cooperation

Subordinate institutions: International Cooperation Office, Member Service Office, International Conference Organization Office.

Responsibilities:

International Cooperation Department: Establish and maintain cooperative relations with foreign engineering organizations and research institutions; Promoting international joint research projects; Coordinate international exchange programs.

Member Service Office: responsible for member recruitment, management and service; Establish member database; Organize member activities to enhance members’ sense of belonging.

International Conference Organization Division: planning, organizing or participating in international engineering and technology conferences; Provide conference services to promote the dissemination and exchange of academic achievements.

7. secretariat

Responsibilities: Responsible for daily administrative affairs management of the Academy of Engineering; Document archiving; Conference organization and service; Financial management; It support, etc.
